Broadcast and Recording

Each service is broadcast live via the INTERNET and reaches around the world. At the same time, our services are recorded for both posterity and to meet the on demand nature of our sermons and special programs.

Recording Engineer has a special set of responsibilities that coordinate with, but are separate from, the Front of House Engineer. This person needs to be able to adjust the balance and the sound of the many sources quickly and on the fly. A keen ear for the unique sounds of instruments and voices is an important part of this job. Good listening and communication skills are important.

Video Mixer  and Editor is responsible for choosing the video inputs that will be displayed and recorded during the service. This person needs to have a good eye for areas of visual interest, and understand our objective of our broadcast. A strong knowledge of computers and video containers, resolutions and codecs is important as this person also is responsible for properly editing and uploading video that is recorded to various media outlets.

Camera Operator is the most important part of the broadcast chain. A good camera operator seeks to show to the world what our services are like. The goal is to put the on-line viewer right into the action as if they were in the auditorium themselves. Knowledge of shutter speeds, exposure rates, lenses and other camera functions are not required, but are helpful. A steady hand and ability to stay focused intently on the what is happening in the service for a long period of time is vital to this position. We are always in need of men and women to serve in this capacity.
